Since the spring of 1948 the "state" of Israel has been committing atrocities against Palestinians and the Arab world. From the moment they declared themselves a "state" they have carried out acts that in this day and age are considered to be ethic cleansing. Not that different from the "ethic cleansing" that was done to the Jews during the Second World War - this is the reason I choose to name the track "double_standard". The name also stands for the relation between the Israeli "soldiers" and the Palestinian "terrorists" - in this post September 11th world in which we live the word "terrorist" is throw around with little thought or consideration for what this accusation might mean. The Palestinians have very little means to defend themselves or to fight a war against a state that illegally occupied their home land and that has a heavy flow of weapons and money from the United States government - in exchange the US has their foot in the door of the middle east. When a Israeli helicopter sends a missile into a refuge camp killing countless displaced Palestinians it is considered by many to be a "tactical movement", but when a Palestinian Freedom fighter explodes himself with a bomb killing innocent Israelis it is commonly know to be an act of "terrorism". I have a really hard time seeing the difference. The State of Palestine is only asking for the 22% of land that was taken from them in 1967. I think this is a small price to pay for a country that has been unjustly occupied for so many deadly years.

I would like to point out that someone that has anti-Israeli views is not necessarily an anti-semite. The atrocities the Israelis have inflicted on the Palestinians should not reflect on every Jew, much like the attacks on September 11th should not reflect on every Arab or Muslim.
